These prayer boxes marry that traditional concept with the Tibetan fascination for beautiful Jewelry. This beautiful silver prayer box was handcrafted in Tibet where they are meant to protect and prolong the efficacy of whatever objects they may enclose. Oftentimes, Tibetans write their wishes and prayers on a piece of paper and put it into the prayer box which they wear daily. By so doing, they believe that the engravings on the outside is the power that will be invoked in protecting as well as realizing the prayer or wish. This particular prayer box has been graced with the Tibetan OM mantra of Chenrezig, the Buddha of Compassion.
